As the Brazilian aircraft market grows, Metro Aviation is playing a larger role in helping South American companies get off the ground.  The worldwide completion leader recently received Brazilian validations for several installations already STC’d in the US for the Airbus EC145T1 aircraft.

“Metro sees Brazil as an emerging market for US products and services.  The certificates are in support of the first EC145 delivery by Metro Aviation to a prominent Brazilian company,” said Metro Aviation Managing Director Milton Geltz.

Metro Aviation received validation for a Single Pilot IFR solution, complete emergency medical system installation and optional equipment installations. The approvals will allow Metro to install the latest communication and navigation systems, integrated with the basic EC145 autopilot system, custom medical interior, aftermarket innovations and more.

Metro previously obtained approval for the EC145 air conditioning system.  Metro Aviation is scheduled to deliver several aircraft to Brazil in 2015.
