Industry Affiliations

Established in 1980, the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) is an international association which serves providers of air and surface medical transport systems. The association, a voluntary non-profit organization, encourages and supports its members in maintaining a standard of performance reflecting safe operations and efficient, high quality patient care.


Helicopter Association International (HAI)'s mission is to provide its members in more than 70 nations with services that directly benefit their operations, and to advance the international helicopter community by providing programs that enhance safety, encourage professionalism and economic viability while promoting the unique contributions vertical flight offers society.


American Eurocopter manufactures, markets, sells, assembles, supports and provides training solutions for Eurocopter rotary-wing aircraft in the United States. Since beginning operations in 1969, it has become a leading provider of helicopters for U.S. civilian, law enforcement, military, homeland defense and other markets.


The mission of the Air Medical Operator's Association (of which Metro's President, Mike Stanberry, is a co-founder and current Vice President) is to ensure the provision, to our customer and the communities we serve, of safe and successful air medical transportation. AMOA is committed to providing the highest level of safety in air medical transport. AMOA has the goal of reducing the industry’s accident rate by concentrating industry resources, sharing best safety practices, and a common obligation to raise the standard of operation in training, safety management, and data collection and analysis.  To ensure our shared responsibility as aviation service providers, AMOA is committed to the implementation of technology, procedures, and operating systems that will help ensure the continued safe and effective operation of air medical services.


As the only association
devoted to the unique regulatory needs of the worldwide civil aviation community, the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) helps develop guidance, policy and interpretations that are clear, concise and consistent, and applied uniformly to all similarly situated companies and individuals. We work with legislators on Capitol Hill to advance an agenda that benefits our membership and aviation safety in general. We are dedicated to helping companies run their operations more efficiently.
